Dottie still has sight words, but now that she has learned to read well it seems she already knows them. We still review them each week. We display them in a pocket chart.

This week Dottie read reviewed her sight words with tropical fish and added them to her coral reef!

To learn our new sight words this week we placed footprints on the sandy beach!

This week we reviewed our positional sight words by playing a find the gold game. Dottie read the words on the clover and hid the gold accordingly. I came behind and found it!

To review our sight words this week we did the simple trick of clipping rain forest animals (with words) to the jungle vines. It is always fun to play!

This week we used our describing word, sight words to describe safari animals. First Dottie read the sight word. Then she placed the animal she thought fit under that description, from the group of animals we had.

Dottie played the tooth fairy as she reached in the pillowcase to find/ read teeth. If she read the "tooth" correctly she got a coin, if not we called it a cavity!

I wrote our new sight words this week on president head diecuts (dollar tree). We layed them out and took turn flipping coins on them.
