On the last day of school we reviewed ALL of our year's worth of sight words. Dottie through "rattlsnakes" on the words and then read them and rounded them up, Texas Style!
To wrap up Kindergarten we just had a few concepts left to cover. We finished the year off Studying our Texas Culture and State Symbols. We read great books and colored each of the state symbols. We also learned some Texas Culture words and Dottie held a longhorn up every time she heard one of those words in our stories. We even wrangled snakes and read some Texas sized Tall Tales!
Week 31 is the last week of Kindergarten Concepts to Cover: Our Culture: Cowboy State symbols: Flag, bird, flower, animal, and insect Tall Tales: Pecos Bill, Paul Bunyan Digraph "oo": Books : Oodles of Noodle s and A Book with a Pig Review all sight words from the year Test out!!!!!
