To review Estimation, Dot estimating that 25 Valentine cookies would fit on the cookie sheet. Turned out 16 fit correctly so that we could cook them. They were a sweet treat! Then she filled in the missing numbers on a "cookie sheet". haha

We started the week by reading How much is a Million? Our first activity was to estimate how many post its would cover the igloo. Then we stuck them to see how close Dot got. Next we estimated how many marshmallows were in the bag. We counted to see, then built an igloo. Last we estimated how many Arctic Tic Tac were in 2 containers. Then we counted, and Dot had really improved from the beginning of the week. Finally we played tic/ tac igloo! Dot estimated 70 It only took 33 Dot estimated 20 There were 40 Nice Igloo!
