Dottie played the tooth fairy as she reached in the pillowcase to find/ read teeth. If she read the "tooth" correctly she got a coin, if not we called it a cavity!

We reviewed our knowledge of coins this week by playing some fun games and worksheets. For our tooth fairy game we placed pillows (envelopes) with amounts of cents on them on the floor. Dottie then added the amount of money (stickers) on each tooth  counting by 1's, 5's, 10's, and 25's and placed the tooth on the correct pillow. Super Fun!

We began our unit on the African Savanna this week. We read some great books and worked all week on an African animal coloring and writing book. We located Africa on our globe that includes the animals per each continent. Dottie also played with our animals and grouped them into kinds.
