We have been learning about colonial jobs and apprentices. This goes right along with reading Johnny Tremain and learning about the printing press. We did our own little activity to show the kids how it worked. Dottie learned that words don't always turn out how you think and that you have to lay it out backwards. She thought it was so silly.
